Flanagan’s Place in West Virginia

"This place recently opened on south side and it was desperately needed on our side of town. Thank you for that!!! My husband and I were here on a Tuesday evening and it was pretty busy. Our server was very friendly and gave a good recommendation for the Gouda and bacon bites appetizer. We loved them! I had the wings with Mississippi bbq, they were good but I’ll try a different sauce next time. My husband burger looked really good and he said it was delicious. I was served with plastic silverware so maybe they just haven’t been able to do silverware yet or didn’t have enough. The walls are bare except for the large amount of TV’s around. It will be a great place to catch a game. I thought it would be fun to turn it into a Buffalo bills backer bar lol."

"We were looking for a good place to get a hamburger on our way to a wedding out of state. This place did not disappoint. The burgers were large and juicy, the fries hot, crisp and excellent seasoning. Staff were very friendly and attentive, also very clean. The owner, also very friendly stopped by the table and chatted with us. Highly recommend. This will be our place to come for our next trip up here for sure."

"The food is top notch. Not just another bar and grill. Food is fresh and fast. Fresh never frozen burgers top of the line wings with amazing sauce chooses. The bartender and servers rock. If you haven't tried it do so."

"I just had my first visit. I've been saying for years that Southside needed an American style pub & grill. This fits the bill to a tee. Atmosphere is fresh and upbeat, think wings etc or any other place that is a solid family oriented place that you can get great food, drink beer and watch sports. I only had The Philly cheesesteak wrap with queso cheese but it was excellent. Can't wait to try more menu items. The service and attitudes from everyone has been great. Family owned local joint minutes from my house....yeah I'll be spending a lot of time here. I highly recommend you give them a chance."

"Husband and I have been to Flanagan's several times now. Friendly staff. Food and drinks are always good. Restaurant and bathrooms are super clean! The bartender turned one of the TVs on for us to watch the Army/Navy game. I ordered the Christmas Cookie cocktail that was delicious! The atmosphere isn't too overly loud. Spacious. Good location. This side of town needed a clean sports bar area.The only complaint I have is that the Touch Tunes machine was turned on but sound wasn't on I suppose? I spent several credits to play a song and realized the music that was playing was from the restaurant and not Touch Tunes. So my credits were wasted. Other than that, not a bad place to grab a cold beer or cocktail and watch a game."

"Clean, very nice lunch I had. Saebra was on top of everything I needed and informative on what kinds of things this place offers....as its still rather new. It's pretty far outta my way, but I definitely plan on some return trips. That burger was BOMB!!!!"

"It is not often that I write reviews about restaurants but I feel that this one absolutely deserves one. I first heard about Flanagan's through a friend of mine so one day we decided to check it out, the service there is fast, friendly, and efficient; even the owner came by to talk & welcome us. The food was amazing I never would have known that I liked deep-fried cauliflower bites until I tried some from Flanagan's. I am definitely going back for my 21st Birthday. Can't wait!"
